1) Agreement
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2) Who the Service is for (adults and families)
The Service is intended for adults (parents, guardians, and other adults) creating storybooks for children. You must be at least 18 (or the age of majority where you live) to make purchases or submit content.
3) What LittleBard does
LittleBard generates storybooks based on what you submit, which may include story prompts, preferences, and optional images. The Service may be updated, changed, or discontinued.
4) Pay-per-book, promotions, and delivery
Pay-per-book model
LittleBard is a pay-per-book service. When pricing is enabled, you pay for each book you order. There is no subscription unless we clearly offer one in the future.
Free promotion and future pricing
From time to time, we may offer promotions (including “free copies”) for a limited time or limited quantity. Promotions can end at any time. When a promotion ends, the standard price may apply (for example, $4.99 per book) and prices may change over time.
Delivery by email
When you order a book, we deliver a PDF (and any included assets) to the email address you provide. You are responsible for entering a valid email address and ensuring you can receive emails from us (including checking spam or filtering rules). If delivery fails, we may attempt re-delivery.
Payments (when enabled)
If and when we enable payments, you authorize us and our payment processors to charge your chosen payment method for the purchase amount and applicable taxes.
Refunds
Because books are digital goods delivered electronically, all sales are final except where required by law. If you are charged and we fail to deliver the purchased file after reasonable attempts, we may issue a refund or provide a replacement delivery at our discretion.
5) Your content and AI-generated output
Definitions
Input: what you submit (prompts, names, preferences, uploaded images).
Output: what the Service generates (story text, illustrations, layouts, audio if applicable).
Input and Output together are “Content.”
Ownership
You own your Input. As between you and AE Studio, and to the extent permitted by law, you own your Output.
License to operate the Service
You grant AE Studio a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use your Input (and, as needed, your Output) to operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Service, including generating and delivering your book.
Similarity and non-uniqueness
AI-generated Output may be similar or identical to content generated for other users, and we do not guarantee uniqueness.
Review before sharing
You are responsible for reviewing Output for accuracy, appropriateness, and suitability before sharing, publishing, or using it.
6) Reference images and children’s photos
If the Service allows you to upload an image (for example, a child’s photo to inspire characters or illustration style), you agree to all of the following:
You must have rights and consent
You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights, permissions, and (if applicable) parental or guardian consent to upload and use the image in the Service.
Do not upload sensitive or risky images
Do not upload:
- images containing nudity or sexual content (especially involving minors),
- images that contain personal documents (IDs, passports, school records),
- images you do not have permission to use,
- images that you would not be comfortable being processed by third-party AI providers.
Likeness and character resemblance
Even with safeguards, AI systems can produce characters that resemble real people. We do not guarantee that characters or illustrations will not resemble a real person or third-party copyrighted character.
7) Safety, moderation, and removal
We may refuse, filter, remove, or disable access to Content that violates these Terms, is illegal, or is unsafe or inappropriate for children. We may suspend or terminate access for repeated violations. (This approach is common in kid-focused story generators.)

8) Prohibited uses
You may not use the Service to generate or share content that is illegal, abusive, exploitative, hateful, harassing, or harmful to children. You may not attempt to scrape, reverse engineer, or disrupt the Service.
9) Intellectual property complaints
If you believe Content infringes your copyright or trademark, contact us at [email protected] with sufficient details to identify the material and your claim. We may remove the content while we review the claim.
10) Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant that Output will be error-free, accurate, non-infringing, or appropriate for every audience.
11) Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AE Studio will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the specific book giving rise to the claim (or $100 if you paid nothing).
12) Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AE Studio from claims arising out of your Input, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms, including claims relating to images you upload without proper rights or consent.
13) Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new effective date.
14) Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, excluding conflict-of-law rules (unless your local consumer protection laws require otherwise).
